On Wednesday the 18th of March, Rockdale Public School celebrated Harmony Day. Students and teachers were encouraged to come to school wearing their national costumes or colours of their national flags.
The day was spent moving around the school and experiencing performances from different cultures. These included; Taiko drums, Balinese and Hip Hop dancing and Mexican harp playing. Parents were invited to attend the final performance which was a trio of musicians from different cultures who fused their music together in what proved to be an eclectic and enjoyable performance for everyone spectating.
The day was a huge success and we would all like to thank Mrs. Lillian Latif for organising such a wonderful event and Miss Truong for her tireless effort on our fantastic new school mural.
